On February 17th, 2024, I flew to Mumbai, India to receive the Global Women Leader Award alongside other high-powered women. We participated in panel discussions on sustainable leadership and entrepreneurship. While our views may vary on subjects of equality, one thing is certain: we need to celebrate each other's success no matter what. It’s a new concept for women not to be jealous and judgmental towards one another. It’s been embedded in us since the beginning of time. It’s also okay for us to be comfortable in knowing we are good looking, smart, and capable without being judged and shamed for embracing our femininity. Being feminine is the best gift to own, I would not trade it for anything. During an interview, I was asked how I managed to break barriers in a world dominated by men. My answer was simple: by showing up as Laila. I have never defined myself by my gender or other given titles or roles. I deliver without fear of failure because I do not believe there is such a thing as failure. There is always another door opening up for lessons to learn in bettering ourselves. Thank you for the recognition and acknowledgment Dr R.L Bhatia , Aalok Pandit & Team of World Women Leadership Congress for the Asia Women Leaders in August 2023, and now Global Women Leader 2024. May I continue to contribute without any expectations but filled with gratitude for the recognition.

Firstly, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to engage with great women leaders on this focused and insightful platform.
Indeed you have let no stone unturned to ensure our efforts in our respective domains as women gets the due exposure and recognition not only at a national level but at a global level.
SDGs is a subject close to my heart, and it needs actions not only at an execution level but also mindset transformation levels. The round table discussion drove us exactly in that direction!
Nira Wellbeing is still a baby in the field of health and wellness and yet your acknowledgment and honour is definitely a significant milestone in NIRA’s growth and journey.
