Ruby Ray

Dr. Ruby Ray is a General Management Strategist and Brand Management Specialist with over two decades of experience in the industry across the subcontinent.
Rubyruns her transformation program called rubyraymindpreneur(for the CXOs and potential CXOs) for unlockingtheir potential, to reachthe next level, by integrating the inner and the external personas in optimal time. She is also a Founding Director of Food Lexicon Pvt. Ltd. (a unique wallet that measures personalised calorie consumptions and the hub of chemical free natural food products).
Ruby also functions as the CEO and Founding Director for Action Lab 2050 Foundation, a social enterprise, working towards creating a conducive environment for every woman to live up to her full potential by working with MHH around theSDGs of UNDP. And she continues toconsult on Business Strategies and Brand Managementand conducts workshops and training in various corporates and business schools
Beginning with being employed atMicroland Limited as a software programmer, Rubysubsequently worked across various verticals with Xerox Corporation, Hindustan Unilever, Pepsico, and Spencer's Retail. She was instrumental in setting up of Century LED Limited including the launch of the brand "MAGIK" and astate-of-the-artmanufacturing unit. Restructuring of Marketing functions, Sales&Distribution operations and Channel Programs for RSH Private Limited by Ruby, provided a new lease of life to erst-while stagnating organisation and opened up Organised Trade and Ecommerce as new streams of revenue. She also consulted with Anmol Feeds Private Limited as their CMO.
The entrepreneurial bug bit, which led to setting up of an Organic Food Business,an organization specializing in MHH products and re-structuring of indigenous crafts in preparedness towards making them more relevant for a sustainable world.
An NLP practitioner, a Life Transformation Coach and a certified EQ Evaluator, Ruby completed her MSc in Economics from St Xavier's College, Kolkata and MBA, before going on to super-specialise in marketing and in leadership from IIM Calcutta. She also has a PHD from WHRPC.
A life member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, a keen Rotarian (in District 3291), an active member of The Toast Master's Club and COWE, she has been presented with various awards including that of Woman of Substance Award 2017 by IIEM and Woman Leadership Award 2019, in 2020 by World Marketing Congress and in 2021 by National Human Rights Organisation. Ruby is also a keen Endurance Runner and a Plogger.
