Debjani Choubey is a seasoned journalist with over 18 years of experience across various media platforms in India. She began her career as a News Anchor with Zee Media (24 Ghanta) before transitioning into Reporting. After spending two and a half years at Zee, she joined NDTV, and later moved to News Nation Network as a Senior Special Correspondent.

Her coverage includes significant events in Eastern India, such as the Gyaneswari Express train tragedy in 2010, the Sikkim earthquake in 2011, and the AMRI Kolkata hospital fire tragedy. She has also reported on major elections, including the 2011 West Bengal state elections and the 2014 & 2019 Parliament elections, covering the entire Eastern region. In 2015, she was part of the media contingent for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bangladesh, conducting extensive reporting from there.

Debjani's reporting extends beyond politics to encompass social, environmental, and cultural issues in the East. She also actively contributes to the discourse on the betterment of women in the Eastern region, advocating for their empowerment and advancement.

With a keen interest in long-format features, she has produced documentaries on various topics, including Indo-Bangladesh Border issues, Dying art of Circus, Trafficking of Women in Sunderbans, Pollution of the Ganges, Problems of tea gardens in North Bengal, and the challenges Jharkhand faces. Additionally, she has authored articles for news websites on diverse subjects.
