Bhagyashree Saini is a Women & Child rights activist who is also an author/blogger writes for
prominent spaces like Unicef- Voices of Youth, International Youth Journal about the women and
child rights. She also founded Rajasthan Unsung Stars Abhiyaan to bring droput girls of rural
Rajasthan back to school and complete their formal education. Covering 6 districts Jaipur, Ajmer,
Dungarpur, Banswara, Jalore and Udaipur her abhiyaan has reached out to more than 3000 girls from
tribal and remote locations. Under her initiative she also provide self defence training, health and
nutrition awareness and Survival Skills to the girls and empower them for every future endeavours,
Abhiyaan also provided scholarship every year to selected girls and recognize them for their
achievements throughout the year and support them financially to pursue their dreams.
Bhagyashree is a graduate in Science and pursued Masters in Public Administration. Bhagyashree's commitment to social justice and human rights led her to earn certifications from renowned institutions. She was awarded a certification in NGO Management from IGNOU and in International Child Rights from Harvard University, signifying her expertise in advocating for the rights and wellbeing of children on a global scale. Additionally, she also received a certification in Gender and Sexuality, as well as LGBTQ issues from the University of British Columbia, demonstrating her commitment to promoting gender equality and LGBTQ rights. Bhagyashree's educational pursuits also led her to Stanford University Distance Program, where she acquired a certification in International Women's Rights, further solidifying her commitment to women's empowerment and gender equity.
