Shobha Vasudevan

Shobha Vasudevan, a 19 year veteran in communications and PR, joined EMC (now part of Dell) in 2014 as Head- Corporate Communications and PR for India. In this capacity, Shobha is responsible to execute the planning, development and execution of strategic communications programs including analyst relations, public relations, executive communications, and internal communications in India with the goal to enhance awareness and understanding of EMC and its vision, solutions, strategies and value propositions.
Prior to her role in EMC, Shobha served as Marketing Communications Lead for Events at Microsoft India Corporation Pvt Ltd. She also spent almost 11 years at Canon heading the corporate communication charter and managing portfolios across PR, branding, event management, internal communications and CSR.
Her work has been recognized across all the organisations she has worked with and she has won many accolades for the same. She was awarded as a Super Achiever by the World Women Leadership Congress for PR and Corporate Communications in 2016 and the Corporate Communication professional of the year at the National Awards for Marketing Excellence. She has also won the award for Best practice in Global Comms at EMC in 2015 for innovation in PR campaign. She has also won 2 gold and 2 silver awards for Innovation and Success at EMC. In 2013, she was awarded as Best Individual Contributor at Global Event Marketing Awards and won the SMSG India Collaborators award twice in a row (2012 and 2013) at Microsoft.. During her role in Canon she bagged 2 awards- President Award in 2011 & Best Marketing Manager in 2009.
Shobha is graduate in Bachelors of Arts from Delhi University with a Business English Communication certificate from Cambridge University.
