Neelika is a Marketing and Communications specialist who has over 25 years work experience in Marketing Strategy and Digital Marketing, Communication strategy and Corporate Communications, Leading and Managing CSR Projects & Sustainability Initiatives, Public Relations and Stakeholder Management, Key Account and HR management, Leading Project Teams and Finance Management. She has experience in industries like FMCG, Agriculture, Pharma, Industrial Products, Investment Banking and Real Estate. Over 20 years' of this experience has been in Senior Managerial level and 15 of them at a leadership level at companies like Unilever Sri Lanka, Coca-Cola Sri Lanka and CIC Holdings PLC.
She currently works as a Consultant in Marketing, communications and Sustainability. Her clients range from Real Estate, IT and trading operations.
She has been awarded the Leadership Excellence in Corporate Communications - Top 50 Professional and Career Women Awards by Women in Management and IFC (International Finance Corporation - A member of the World Bank Group), the Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders – Awarded by the Global Marketing Congress, at Taj Lands End, Mumbai and Sri Lanka Women Leadership Awards 2018 in Colombo.
She is a travel enthusiast and adventurer with a passion for long hikes and deep sea diving. As a professional fitness trainer she spends her free time mentoring those struggling with health and weight issues to understand that being fit doesn't mean being thin, it means being healthy.
