Karin boasts more than 15 years of experience in the lifestyle, travel, real estate, financial and luxury brand Public Relations industries and has worked with international brands such as Ericsson, Bata, Carlson Rezidor, Microban, Linksys, Dun & Bradstreet, Microsoft and CIMB among many others.
With this international Public Relations proficiency, Karin Lohitnavy is one of the premier names in the Thai industry. She started Midas PR in 2007 after gathering ideas and honing her skills in Luxembourg, then refining her PR approach by working in Thailand.
The many valuable experiences she has gained over the years have made Karin a true thought leader in the world of PR and Reputation Management. On many occasions, she leverages this knowledge and experience to provide other entrepreneurs with the chance to grow. Over recent years she has taken every chance to share her expertise by mentoring young businesspersons and speaking at a number of leadership, business and PR conferences such as the Women in Business Series, Thailand Startup Summit 2016, PROI Worldwide Global and Regional conferences, Elevating Purpose 17 and is scheduled to speak at many major events in 2018 such as the International Property Awards 2018 and Effective PR Strategies, Crisis Communications Plan & Reputation Management in the Digital Era taking place in May at the Landmark hotel in Bangkok.
What sets Karin apart is her local knowledge paired with a very international flair. Born in Belgium, she was educated in England, Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, Greece and France. Karin has a double degree in Social Sciences and Political Sciences from a French University and she can fluently speak 8 languages. It was these multi-cultural beginnings that allowed Karin to make powerful contacts along the way, connecting people with their counterparts and subsequently opening doors full of opportunities for her clients.
Last but not least she has become a familiar face to most Bangkokians by creating and running 2 very successful Bangkok networking events during the past 10 years, is Past President of the Rotary Club of Bangkapi, has participated actively in many CSR campaigns and championed a number of charitable events.
In the past years Midas PR has won the Best PR Agency in Thailand twice, in 2016 and 2018 and recently Karin was also awarded the Thailand Women Leaders "Woman Leadership Award" from CMO Asia.
